Poldergeluk is on a small holiday park in Nieuwe Niedorp, North Holland, with its own garden against a green line of trees. Beyond the trees lies a sheep meadow, with a canal behind it. There are other holiday homes on the park too.

Plenty: the cheese market in Alkmaar, the steam tram between Hoorn and Medemblik, the bulb fields in spring, and dunes and beach about 25 to 30 minutes away by car. The surroundings page lists 62 outings, from a restaurant and golf course nearby to castles and museums.

By car you reach the beach at Callantsoog in about 25 to 30 minutes. That is an estimate; your travel time depends on traffic. Sint Maartenszee, Camperduin and Petten are close by too.

There are no shared facilities on the park for guests of Poldergeluk to use. It is all about your own cabin, the private garden and sauna, and the surroundings. What applies: no pets, no parties, and please treat the cabin and its surroundings with respect. Any further rules will be added later.

Check-in is from 15:00. You check in on your own: the key is in a key box, so from then on you can arrive at your own pace.

There is a car park on the holiday park where you can leave your car.
